Sherco TVS Rally Factory Team on Thursday named Aishwarya Pissay in the four-member squad for the upcoming Baja Aragon. The rally is scheduled to kick-off on July 20th and conclude on July 22nd in Teruel, Spain. The team comprises the French brother duo Adrien Metge and Michael Metge, Spaniard Lorenzo Santolino and Aishwarya Pissay from India.

India beat New Zealand 3-1 to clinch test series

The Indian Men's Hockey team clinched the test series against New Zealand, as they beat the Kiwis 3-1 at the Sports Authority of India complex in Bengaluru. The first goal was scored by Rupinder Pal Singh on the 18th minute. New Zealand scored through Stephen Jenness on the 24th minute, before SV Sunil and Mandeep Singh scored for the Indian team.

Chennai building collapse: 1 body recovered, 28 injured

One person was killed and at least 28 others were injured after a Coimbatore-based hospital collapsed in Chennai's Kandanchavadi area on Saturday night. The victims, mostly migrant labourers, had night shift and were trapped in the debris after the collapse. Those who sustained severe head injuries were immediately hospitalised.
