India's retail inflation for June recorded at 5%

Government data revealed that, India's June retail inflation came at 5 per cent up from 4.87 per cent in May. Consumer food price inflation, a metric to gauge changes in monthly kitchen costs, grew 2.91 percent in June from 3.10 percent in May. Last month, RBI upped CPI inflation estimates for 2018-19 and projected it at 4.8-4.9 percent in April-September.

A suicide attack took place near Kabul international airport on Sunday. At least 23 people died in the blast. Around 107 others were wounded in yesterday's powerful explosion. Couple dies after roof of Dwarka house

The roof of a house in Delhi's Dwarka area that had weakened over time with seepage collapsed in the early hours of the morning, killing a couple and injuring their three children, police said. The family was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where Sunil and Rachna were declared brought dead. The three children have been admitted to hospital.
