Pakistan prevents meeting between Sikh pilgrims and Indian diplomats

Pakistan have broken diplomatic protocol once again, as they prevented visiting Sikh pilgrims from meeting Indian diplomats in the country. According to a statement by the External Affairs Ministry in India, Indian diplomats weren't allowed to meet the pilgrims at Wagah Railway Station on 12 April. Further, the diplomats weren't allowed into the Gurudwara Panja Sahib.

DCW chief Swati Maliwal on Sunday ended her her indefinite fast after the Union Cabinet on Saturday approved an ordinance to award death sentence to rapists of children below 12 years of age.

Earlier on Saturday, the DCW chief said she would not end her fast until something concrete happens to ensure the safety of a girl child.
