SC directs J&K government to provide security to Kathua victim's family

The Supreme Court has sought a reply from the Jammu and Kashmir government by 27 April on whether a transfer of the Kathua rape case to Chandigarh from the state's courts is necessary. Further, the apex court has also asked the state to provide security to the family of the deceased victim. The SC's direction comes in response to a plea filed by the victim's father.
