CBI pegs Rotomac's loan default at Rs 3,695 crore

The CBI on Monday registered a case against Rotomac Pens MD Vikram Kothari and his family for allegedly defaulting on loans of over Rs 3,695 crore from a consortium of 7 banks led by the Bank of Baroda. The scam was earlier estimated at around Rs 800 crore. Earlier today, the agency carried out raids at several locations in connection with the case.
