Japanese carmaker Toyota has introduced the 2025 Fortuner Leader Edition in India, bringing sharper styling and feature enhancements to its popular SUV. The refreshed Toyota Fortuner Leader edition builds on the 2024 model with visual upgrades and interior refinements while retaining its proven diesel powertrain.The new Fortuner Leader Edition continues with the 2.8-litre turbo-diesel engine that produces 201bhp and up to 500Nm of torque. It is available in 4x2 manual and automatic variants, offering the same balance of strong performance and long-distance comfort.

App-based cab aggregator Rapido has received a five-year licence from the Karnataka State Transport Authority to operate cab services in the state. The licence, issued under the Karnataka On-Demand Transportation Technology Aggregators Rules, 2016, is valid until August 2031.
