Citroen To Cut Prices By Up To ₹2.7 Lakh

Citroen India has announced that it will pass on the full benefit of the GST 2.0 reforms to its customers. The revised ex-showroom prices, effective from September 22, 2025, cover the C3 hatchback, the C3 Aircross SUV, the Basalt coupe-SUV, and the C5 Aircross flagship SUV.The price corrections are a direct result of the simplified GST 2.0 tax structure. Under the new system, small cars under four metres with petrol engines up to 1.2 litres fall into an 18 per cent GST bracket, while larger SUVs and sedans are taxed at a flat 40 per cent rate. This has eliminated the previous cess system, significantly reducing the effective tax burden on larger vehicles.
