Indian Government Could Remove RTO NOC

Vehicle ownership transfer between states could soon become easier, as the Union government is planning to scrap the requirement for a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the original state's Regional Transport Office (RTO). The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) is currently examining the proposal.
