Jammu-Srinagar highway closed at Ramban due to landslides

Following landslides, the Jammu-Srinagar highway was closed at Ramban. The landslides were triggered by heavy rainfall in Jammu. Numerous vehicles were left stranded, as a result, on the 270 km highway. Incidents of stones rolling down from hillocks were also reported. The Met Department has predicted adverse weather conditions in the next 48 hours in the region.
