Petrol, Diesel Prices Hiked for Fourth Time in 10 Days

Fuel prices in India have risen for the fourth time in less than a fortnight, with state-run oil marketing companies hiking petrol by up to ₹2.87 per litre and diesel by up to ₹2.81 per litre, effective Monday, May 25. With this revision, the cumulative increase since May 15 has now reached nearly ₹7.50 to ₹8 per litre.
