Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles and its subsidiary Jaguar Land Rover have commenced operations at their new manufacturing facility in Panapakkam, Ranipet district, Tamil Nadu, with the first vehicle rolling out as the Range Rover Evoque produced locally for JLR.The new manufacturing plant was inaugurated today by Tamil Nadu CM M. K. Stalin and N. Chandrasekaran, the Chairman of the Tata Group. The opening ceremony for the new Tata Motors JLR plant was attended by state ministers, government officials and senior executives from TMPV, JLR and the Tata Group.
