Passports damaged in Kerala floods to be replaced for free: Sushma Swaraj

While the situation in Kerala remains serious, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj stated that people whose passports are damaged due to floods will have them replaced for free.  "We've decided that as the situation becomes normal, passports damaged on account of floods shall be replaced free of charge. Please contact the concerned Passport Kendras," she tweeted.

50 tons of meth seized by Mexico marines

A record 50 tons of crystal meth has been seized by Mexican marines from a drug lab in the state of Sinaloa. The military said it detected the lab in the town of Alcoyonqui, near the state capital Culiacan, and raided it on Thursday. Sinaloa is home to the drug cartel of the same name. The lab was on territory controlled by the Sinaloa cartel.
