US Senator John McCain, who had been suffering from brain cancer, breathed his last on Saturday, August 25, while being surrounded by his family. As is seen in the video, a huge motorcade took the body of the former war veteran and presidential candidate to a mortuary in Phoenix late on Saturday. Dozens of people took a glimpse of the procession along Interstate 17.

The Hyderabad metro line has been flagged off by Telangana Governor E. S. L. Narasimhan from Ameerpet to L. B. Nagar covering a distance of 16 kilometres. The stretch is a part of corridor-1 of the Red Line which is from Miyapur to L. B. Nagar. With this, the Hyderabad metro will now become India's second largest metro network after Delhi.
