Ace Indian shuttler Kidambi Srikanth bowed out of the 18th edition of the Asian Games after losing to Wong Wing Ki Vincent of Hong Kong in the opening round of the Badminton Men's Singles event on Friday. He suffered a 21-23, 19-21 straight-sets defeat. India's total medal tally at the Asian Games stands at 24 with six gold, five silver and thirteen bronze.

In a video clip, Nithyananda can be seen saying, "I'll develop a proper, phonetic, linguistic-capable vocal cord for monkeys. We are going to have bulls and cows which will talk to you very clearly, legitimately, in Sanskrit and Tamil".

The troops of Indian and the United States army participated in a battle obstacle course, rock and ice craft wall, room intervention and unarmed combat. A joint military exercise between the armies of both the countries started on September 16 at the foothills of Chaubattia in Uttarakhand. Yudh Abhyas 2018 will conclude on September 29.
