The company is said to adopt a new power-saving backplane technology for the new iPhones and Apple Watch displays. According to the research firm IHS Markit, the new technology will help increase the battery life of the devices.

Police have arrested seven people in Assam over last 4 days on the suspicion of having links with the terrorist organisation, Hizbul Mujahideen. Arrests were made after a manhunt was launched on Friday by security agencies in Uttar Pradesh and Assam. The joint operation was launched by Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorist Squad, along with the Assam Police and Crime Branch.
