NASA launched the Parker Solar Probe from Cape Canaveral in Florida on Sunday. The probe is reportedly the fastest-moving object made by man, and is part of NASA's mission to study the Sun from a distance closer than ever. It has been named after Eugene Parker, a 91 year old astrophysicist, who described the solar wind for the first time in 1958.
