Nobel laureate and writer par-excellence VS Naipual passed away on Saturday at the age of 85. He passed away at his London home, his wife informed. He had won the Nobel Prize in 2001 for literature. He has authored numerous books, including "The Enigma of Arrival", which Nobel judges singled out as a masterpiece. His full name was Vidiadhar Surajprasad Naipaul.
