Bajaj Absorbs GST Hike On Pulsar NS400Z And Dominar 400

Indian two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj has confirmed that it will absorb the impact of the new 40% GST rate for motorcycles above 350cc. This ensures prices for the Pulsar NS400Z and Dominar 400 remain unchanged at current ex-showroom levels in India.Earlier, motorcycles above 350cc attracted 28% GST and a 3% cess, taking the total tax incidence to 31%. The revised 40% slab would have increased ex-showroom prices by several thousand rupees across the affected Bajaj models.
