Maruti Suzuki and Mahindra Clash Over CAFE-III Norms

India's next phase of fuel-economy rules - CAFE (Corporate Average Fuel Efficiency)-III- is set to go into effect from April 2027. The new CAFE-III norms will impose much tighter CO₂ targets compared to the current CAFE-II norms that came into effect in 2022-23.
