NHAI Discontinues KYV Verification For FASTag Users

The Indian Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has announced that, from February 1, 2026, FASTag users will no longer be required to verify documents after their FASTag accounts are activated. The decision follows a surge in complaints from users over the sudden deactivation of FASTag accounts due to incomplete or unverified documentation.
