The Volkswagen Polo Is Back - But It's An EV

Volkswagen has announced that the Polo nameplate will return, this time in an electric format. The ID.2all concept will enter production as the ID.Polo, and a GTI variant will also be introduced as the first-ever electric GTI in VW's lineup.The global reveal of the ID.Polo and ID.Polo GTI is scheduled at the IAA Mobility show in Munich later this month. Both models will reach European markets in 2026. They will be underpinned by the MEB Entry electric platform and offered with two battery pack options.
